2nd MAIN BREAK-RT 104, Auburn

September 18, 2025

The Otter Lake Water Commission has a 2nd water main break on Route 104 in Auburn. The crew is currently working on repairing both breaks and approximately 47 customers are affected. (These customers are East of our Booster Station on Rt 104 heading west to Purdom RD. This will also include all customers North on BAB RD and Moose Cry Road.) Customers have been notified by our automated call system and will be under a boil order notice until we get results back from our lab (these results may take up to 72 hours). Once we get notice that the boil order can be lifted, we will notify customers again with our automated call system.

ROUTE 104 WATER MAIN BREAK

September 18, 2025

Otter Lake Water Commission is repairing a water main break on Route 104 east of BAB road in Auburn. Approx. 4 customers were affected and will be without water and have been notified by phone. Once water is restored those customers will be under a boil order and will be called once it is lifted. If you have any questions please feel free to call our office at 217-965-1566. HYDRANT FLUSHING

September 05, 2025

The Otter Lake Water Commission is flushing hydrants system wide, weather permitting from September 8th through September 19th.  We will be starting with the Girard area and head North towards Glenarm. Flushing will be done between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm. Otter Lake Water Commission customers may experience cloudy/discolored water during this time period and should not do laundry during the flushing hours. We are sorry for any inconveniences during this period. Please contact our office at 217-965-1566 if you have any questions. M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
